นิทรรศการเทคโนโลยี ครั้งที่ 1 (พ.ศ. 2515)

    นิทรรศการเทคโนโลยีของสถาบันเทคโนโลยีพระจอมเกล้า ธนบุรี จัดขึ้นครั้งแรกระหว่างวันที่ 29 มกราคม – 4 กุมภาพันธ์ พ.ศ. 2515 เพื่อแสดงผลงานเทคโนโลยีของนักศึกษาและเผยแพร่ความรู้ด้านวิทยาศาสตร์สู่ประชาชน โดยจัดขึ้นภายในสถาบันฯ ด้วยการสนับสนุนจากมูลนิธิเอเชีย (ทุน 15,000 บาท) และสถานทูตต่างประเทศ รวมถึงการเข้าร่วมของร้านค้าและโรงเรียนที่ส่งนักเรียนเข้าร่วมแข่งขันตอบปัญหาทางวิทยาศาสตร์ งานครั้งนี้ได้รับความสนใจอย่างล้นหลาม มีผู้เข้าชมงามากถึง 19,000 คน

นิทรรศการเทคโนโลยี ครั้งที่ 2 (พ.ศ. 2518)

        จากความสำเร็จในครั้งแรกสถาบันฯ  จึงสานต่อพลังแห่งความคิดสร้างสรรค์ของนักศึกษาอีกครั้งใน นิทรรศการเทคโนโลยี ครั้งที่ 2 ซึ่งจัดขึ้นระหว่างวันที่ 11 – 17 ธันวาคม พ.ศ. 2518 นิทรรศการครั้งนี้ไม่เพียงแสดงผลงานนักศึกษา แต่ยังสะท้อนถึงความร่วมมืออันกว้างขวางจากสถานทูต บริษัท ห้างร้าน ศิษย์เก่า นักเรียน และประชาชนทั่วไป โดยมีจุดเด่นคือการนำเสนอโครงงานที่เกี่ยวข้องกับปัญหาสังคมและพลังงาน นับเป็น "สะพานแห่งการเรียนรู้" ที่เชื่อมโยงสถาบันกับสังคม และตอกย้ำบทบาทของ มจธ. ในฐานะสถาบันผู้นำด้านวิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยีของประเทศไทย

นิทรรศการเทคโนโลยี ครั้งที่ 3 (พ.ศ. 2522)

            ในปี พ.ศ. 2522 ได้จัดนิทรรศการเทคโนโลยี ครั้งที่ 3 ขึ้นอย่างยิ่งใหญ่ในวันที่ 7 ธันวาคม พ.ศ. 2522 ซึ่งตรงกับโอกาส ฉลองครบรอบ 20 ปี วิทยาเขตธนบุรี ที่สำคัญยิ่งคือได้รับพระมหากรุณาธิคุณจาก สมเด็จพระเจ้าลูกเธอ เจ้าฟ้าจุฬาภรณวลัยลักษณ์ อัครราชกุมารี เสด็จพระราชดำเนินทรงเปิดงานด้วยพระองค์เอง

นิทรรศการเทคโนโลยี ครั้งที่ 4 (พ.ศ. 2525)

             ต่อมาในวันที่ 8 – 15 ธันวาคม พ.ศ. 2525  ได้จัดนิทรรศการเทคโนโลยี ครั้งที่ 4 นับเป็นอีกหนึ่งวาระสำคัญในประวัติศาสตร์ของสถาบัน เนื่องจากได้รับพระมหากรุณาธิคุณจาก สมเด็จพระเทพรัตนราชสุดา ฯ สยามบรมราชกุมารี เสด็จพระราชดำเนินทรงเป็นประธานเปิดงานนิทรรศการ และทรงเปิดอาคารคณะพลังงานและวัสดุ อาคารภาควิชาเคมี และห้องสมุด

นิทรรศการเทคโนโลยี ครั้งที่ 5 (พ.ศ. 2528)

           ระหว่างวันที่ 9 – 15 ธันวาคม พ.ศ. 2528  จัดนิทรรศการเทคโนโลยี ครั้งที่ 5 อย่างต่อเนื่อง โดยมุ่งเน้นบทบาทของสถาบันในการผลักดันความรู้และนวัตกรรมออกสู่สังคม เพื่อพัฒนาเศรษฐกิจและอุตสาหกรรมของประเทศ โดยเฉพาะอย่างยิ่ง ภาควิชาวิศวกรรมไฟฟ้า ซึ่งมีส่วนร่วมในการจัดงาน ได้เล็งเห็นถึงความสำคัญของการรวบรวมโครงงานเด่น ๆ และบทความทางวิศวกรรมไฟฟ้า โดยได้จัดทำเป็นหนังสือรวบรวมโครงงานสำคัญ ได้แก่ Power electronics, Electronics and Communications, และ Microcomputer and Microprocessor applications

 นิทรรศการเทคโนโลยี ครั้งที่ 6 (พ.ศ. 2534)

              ในวาระ ครบรอบ 30 ปี สถาบันฯได้มีการจัด นิทรรศการเทคโนโลยี ครั้งที่ 6 ขึ้นอย่างยิ่งใหญ่ ระหว่างวันที่ 24 – 31 ตุลาคม พ.ศ. 2534 เพื่อนำเสนอความก้าวหน้าและศักยภาพด้านเทคโนโลยีของสถาบันแก่สาธารณชน โอกาสสำคัญนี้เป็นเกียรติสูงสุดของสถาบันฯ เมื่อได้รับพระมหากรุณาธิคุณจาก พระบาทสมเด็จพระเจ้าอยู่หัว (รัชกาลที่ 9) พร้อมด้วย สมเด็จพระเทพรัตนราชสุดาฯ สยามบรมราชกุมารี เสด็จพระราชดำเนินมาทรงเปิดงานนิทรรศการด้วยพระองค์เองในวันพฤหัสบดีที่ 24 ตุลาคม 2534 ทั้งสองพระองค์ได้ทอดพระเนตรโครงงานต่าง ๆ ที่นักศึกษาและคณาจารย์จัดแสดง 

นิทรรศการเทคโนโลยี ครั้งที่ 7 (พ.ศ. 2539)

             ในปี พ.ศ. 2539 ซึ่งเป็นปีกาญจนาภิเษก ครบรอบ 50 ปีแห่งการครองราชย์ของ พระบาทสมเด็จพระเจ้าอยู่หัว รัชกาลที่ 9 และตรงกับวาระ ครบรอบ 36 ปี แห่งการก่อตั้ง  สถาบันฯ ได้จัดนิทรรศการเทคโนโลยี ครั้งที่ 7 ขึ้นระหว่างวันที่ 14–18 พฤศจิกายน 2539 ภายใต้แนวคิด “เทคโนโลยีเพื่อทศวรรษหน้า” ในโอกาสอันเป็นมหามงคลนี้ ศาสตราจารย์ ดร.สมเด็จพระเจ้าลูกเธอ เจ้าฟ้าจุฬาภรณวลัยลักษณ์ ได้โปรดเกล้าฯ ให้ ฯพณฯ พลเอกพิจิตร กุลละวณิชย์ รองประธานสถาบันวิจัยจุฬาภรณ์ ฝ่ายกิจกรรมพิเศษ เป็นผู้แทนพระองค์ มาเป็นประธานในพิธีเปิดสวนเฉลิมพระเกียรติ และเปิดงานนิทรรศการอย่างเป็นทางการ

         ตลอดหลายทศวรรษที่ผ่านมา มหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีพระจอมเกล้าธนบุรี ได้สร้างชื่อเสียงด้านเทคโนโลยีเพื่อประโยชน์ของสังคมไทยอย่างต่อเนื่อง โดยมีรากฐานจากการจัดนิทรรศการเทคโนโลยี ตั้งแต่ปี พ.ศ. 2515 จนถึงปัจจุบัน เจตนารมณ์นี้ยังคงสืบทอดมาสู่ Project Day กิจกรรมประจำปีที่นำเสนอผลงานโครงงานของนักศึกษาคณะวิศวกรรมศาสตร์สู่สาธารณะ สะท้อนถึงวิสัยทัศน์ของมหาวิทยาลัยที่มุ่งเน้นการเรียนรู้เชิงปฏิบัติและพัฒนาเทคโนโลยีเพื่อตอบสนองความต้องการของสังคม Project Day จึงเป็นบทพิสูจน์ถึงความมุ่งมั่นของ มจธ. ในการสร้างสรรค์นวัตกรรมและส่งเสริมศักยภาพของนักศึกษา เพื่อเป็นกำลังสำคัญในการพัฒนาประเทศต่อไป

The 1st Technology Exhibition (1972)

The Technology Exhibition of King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Thonburi was first held from January 29 to February 4, 1972, to showcase the technological achievements of students and disseminate scientific knowledge to the public. It was held within the Institute with support from the Asia Foundation (15,000-baht grant) and foreign embassies, as well as the participation of shops and schools that sent students to compete in science quizzes. The event received overwhelming interest, with as many as 19,000 visitors.

2nd Technology Exhibition (1975)

Following the success of the first exhibition, the institute once again continued to foster the creative power of its students at the 2nd Technology Exhibition, held from December 11-17, 1975. This exhibition not only showcased student works but also reflected extensive cooperation from embassies, companies, department stores, alumni, students, and the general public. A highlight was the presentation of projects related to social and energy issues, serving as a "bridge of learning" connecting the institute with society and reaffirming KMUTT's role as a leading science and technology institution in Thailand.

3rd Technology Exhibition (1979)

In 1979, the 3rd Technology Exhibition was grandly held on December 7, 1979, coinciding with the 20th anniversary celebration of the Thonburi Campus. Most importantly, Her Royal Highness Princess Chulabhorn Walailak graciously presided over the opening ceremony.

4th Technology Exhibition (1982)

Subsequently, from December 8-15, 1982, the 4th Technology Exhibition was held. This marked another significant occasion in the institute's history, as Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn graciously presided over the opening ceremony of the exhibition and inaugurated the Faculty of Energy and Materials building, the Department of Chemistry building, and the library.

5th Technology Exhibition (1985)

From December 9 – 15, 1985, the 5th Technology Exhibition was continuously held, focusing on the institute's role in promoting knowledge and innovation to society to develop the country's economy and industry. In particular, the Department of Electrical Engineering, which participated in organizing the event, recognized the importance of collecting outstanding projects and articles in electrical engineering. A book compiling important projects was produced, including Power electronics, Electronics and Communications, and Microcomputer and Microprocessor applications.

The 6th Technology Exhibition (1991)

             On the occasion of its 30th anniversary, the Institute grandly organized the 6th Technology Exhibition from October 24 – 31, 1991, to showcase its technological advancements and potential to the public. This significant occasion was the Institute's highest honor when His Majesty the King (Rama IX), accompanied by Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, graciously presided over the opening ceremony of the exhibition on Thursday, October 24, 1991. Both majesties viewed various projects displayed by students and faculty members.

7th Technology Exhibition (1996)

In 1996, the Golden Jubilee year commemorating the 50th anniversary of the reign of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej Rama IX, and coinciding with the 36th anniversary of the establishment of the Institute, the 7th Technology Exhibition was held from November 14–18, 1996, under the concept of "Technology for the Next Decade." On this auspicious occasion, Professor Dr. Her Royal Highness Princess Chulabhorn Walailak graciously appointed H.E. General Pichitr Kullavanijaya, Vice President of Chulabhorn Research Institute for Special Activities, as her representative to preside over the opening ceremony of the Royal Commemorative Garden and officially open the exhibition.

Over the past decades, King Mongkut's University of Technology Thonburi has continuously built a reputation in technology for the benefit of Thai society, rooted in the organization of technology exhibitions since 1972 until the present. This aspiration continues to be passed on to Project Day, an annual event that presents the project works of Faculty of Engineering students to the public, reflecting the university's vision of focusing on practical learning and developing technology to meet societal needs. Project Day is thus a testament to KMUTT's commitment to creating innovation and enhancing the potential of its students, to be a vital force in the further development of the country.
